Meet Dr. Rosevear
Dr. Rosevear was born and raised in the Seattle, Washington area. He graduated from the University of Puget Sound and completed his dental education with a D.D.S. degree at the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Dentistry. He received his graduate education in orthodontics at West Virginia University, where he received a post-doctoral M.S. degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Dr. Rosevear’s early practice was spent in association with noted orthodontists in Eugene, Oregon and Frankfurt, Germany. He was an assistant professor of dentistry at the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Dentistry where he was chairman of the department of morphology and occlusion. He has held positions at Johnson County Community College in the department of dental hygiene, and has lectured to academic groups, organizations and universities throughout the country.
Dr. Rosevear is active in professional organizations and holds membership in the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, the Greater Kansas City Orthodontic Association, the American Dental Association, and the Kansas Dental Association.
Dr. Rosevear is a volunteer leader of the Venezuela Dental Outreach Program, a self funded organization of dentists and students who deliver dental care to orphans in Venezuela. The group, established in 1985, travels to South America annually, and provides treatment to over 1400 children from orphanages throughout the country.
Dr. Rosevear is Board Certified, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Rosevear resides in Leawood with his wife, Rebecca, a social worker, and their two sons.
